No Sugar Paleo Pumpkin Pie


I created this amazing recipe for pumpkin pie and crust that contains absolutely no sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc! This is a pie you can feel great about eating! You can also add optional toppings (which contain some sugar).

Here is how it looks with no toppings:

RECIPE FOR CRUST (makes enough for one bottom crust):

1 cup organic blanched almond flour

1 Tbsp organic coconut flour

½ cups low-lead organic tapioca or cassava flour plus 6 tablespoons. You can substitute 1 or more tablespoons for cocoa powder to make a chocolate crust. Here is a low lead option Amazon Associates link:

Might want to ask for most up to date testing though, but when I looked they were the lowest.

1/2 tsp pure monkfruit powder. Here is an Amazon associates link to the one I use:

1/2 tsp salt (see my low lead salt guide).

¼ c melted organic coconut oil

1 large pasture raised egg

Combine all ingredients. Then add water, one tablespoon at a time until you get a dough consistency that can be either rolled out or pressed into a greased glass or stainless steel pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.


1 3/4 cups fresh organic puréed sugar pie pumpkin. Or if you want to use a can, one 15- ounce can organic pumpkin

¾ cups organic coconut milk

3 pasture raised eggs

1 pinch ground cloves

1 pinch ground allspice

1 pinch ground cloves

½ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon salt

½ tsp vanilla

1 tsp Pure monkfruit powder. You can add more to your liking, but be sure to add a little at a time because it is possible to add too much. Here is an Amazon associates link to the one I use:

If you’d like to make a chocolate pumpkin pie, you can add 1 tablespoon cacao powder. Here is the lowest lead option I have found: (Amazon associates link).

Combine all ingredients and pour into baked pie crust. Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.


Alter Eco chocolates, which are a low lead brand. I like this particular product because it does not contain milk : (Amazon associates link).

Marshmallows, vegan and slightly healthier than a conventional type: (Amazon associates link).
