See the bottom of this page for more details.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dishes are a good thing to prioritize being lead free, since you and your family eat off them every day, and some dishes have been show to leach lead into food. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I thought I\u2019d share what dishware I have and other good options I learned about. In the picture is Murano by Bormioli Rocco, a brand that claims to be lead Free, and mine were verified lead free with XRF testing by Lead Safe Mama. Since we eat off the dishes daily it was a priority to make sure this was a non toxic purchase. We love them (and get no benefit from talking about it)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other safe and lower cost options are clear Duralex or Anchor Hocking (my mug is that brand too; Amazon affiliate link: <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3KCr18j\">https:\/\/amzn.to\/<\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3KCr18j\" target=\"_blank\">3KCr18j<\/a>, all white Corelle (but not the mugs); Amazon affiliate link: <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3nWESwx\">https:\/\/amzn.to\/3nWESwx<\/a>, Fiestaware, target threshold white, Macy\u2019s hotel collection, crate and barrel (New and square; older has lead), or ikea. Sur La Table good too. Heath Ceramics good but expensive. I often just cover with a glass plate, because I don\u2019t put any kind of plastic in the dishwasher and don\u2019t want to hand wash the Pyrex lids \ud83d\ude02. Other than that I don\u2019t use any painted glass because of heavy metals risks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m also looking into cloth lids such as <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/aplat.com\/collections\/food-covers\/products\/couvre-plat-round-kit\" target=\"_blank\">these<\/a> (not an affiliate link), but they are expensive and I hesitate to get a non-organic cloth. In general because I\u2019m a germaphobe, I worry about germs from the laundry, discussed in my cleaning post. I also do have some beeswax wraps but to be honest have never used them.
